In their November 2025 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the Government of Alberta and Government of Canada pledged to negotiate agreements on the future of several energy and climate policies and projects.
Our analysis compiles a range of industrial projects, many of which were previously announced by companies but on which progress has stalled in the last couple of years, as uncertainty around the future of federal policies has ratcheted up in Alberta.
