EnCana proposes to build a natural gas processing plant in northeast British Columbia. The Environmental Assessment Office is accepting comments on the proposal until August 21, 2009. At full operational capacity, the plant would process up to 800 million standard cubic feet per day of raw natural gas. It would emit 2.2 million tonnes of greenhouse gases per year.
