Market structured contracts for procuring renewable energyTechnical note

Publication - June 2, 2017 - By Sara Hastings-Simon

Alberta is phasing out all coal fired electricity generation in the province by 2030. The province has also set a target for 30% renewable energy generation by the same date. Key to this additional renewable energy capacity is that it is affordable for Albertans.
