Clean energy progress in remote communities
From 2016-2025, hundreds of renewable energy projects have been installed in nearly half of all remote communities in Canada. Together, these projects have saved more than 140 million litres of diesel since 2016 — more diesel than all three territories use to generate electricity in an entire year, combined.
