Letter to federal environment and finance ministers concerning climate financing

Publication - April 5, 2010 - By Robert Fox, Marlo Raynolds, Keith Stewart, Gerry Barr

In this letter, representatives of four leading international development and environmental organizations call on the Government of Canada to fulfill its commitment to provide new and additional funding to support action on climate change in developing countries.

To contribute its fair share, the authors believe that Canada should provide at least US$300–400 million each year from 2010 to 2012, over and above our Official Development Assistance (ODA) commitments.
