Do you want to bring renewable energy — such as wind, solar, or hydro — to your remote community? This series, Demystifying Diesel Reduction, is a set of introductory guides that will give you the information you need to help get clean energy working for you.
As part of the series, we provide information that will support clean energy leaders who are supporting their communities through the early stages of their diesel reduction and clean energy journey.
In remote communities, clean energy champions play a critical role in building healthier, more affordable, and more reliable energy systems. Often, their work is met with high information barriers that slow momentum and make it challenging to make critical decisions.
We created this series to ensure that local clean energy leaders have the information they need to build energy systems that work for their community, not against it.
This series will be most helpful to remote clean energy leaders who are already working with their community in some official capacity as clean energy advisors, climate action coordinators, energy mentors, or community energy project coordinators.
