The Pembina Institute submitted these overarching recommendations for consideration by the Advisory Panel on developing a world class monitoring system for the oilsands in Alberta. The institute also provides some specific recommendations around the adequacy of current monitoring programs related to water, air, biodiversity and reclamation.
