Housing prices have been rising in the Greater Toronto Area in large part because of the limited supply of single-family homes in desirable, established neighbourhoods.

In December 2013, the Pembina Institute released Priced Out, a report on GTA housing prices co-published by RBC. This policy supplement highlights selected findings from that report and presents eight policy solutions to encourage family-friendly housing options in established neighbourhoods.
