Recommendations for a Low Carbon Economy in B.C.Submission to the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services

The Pembina Institute's submission to the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services includes five key recommendations for the 2010 budget to support British Columbia's transition to a low-carbon economy. The recommendations include broadening the carbon tax to cover 80% of B.C.'s greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the carbon tax above $30 per tonne after 2012, while continuing to increase protection for low-income families.
