
Sarah MacWhirter is communications director for the Pembina Institute.
Prior to joining the Institute, Sarah was senior manager of strategic communications for WWF-Canada, where she worked on wildlife loss and climate change in freshwater, terrestrial and marine ecosystems. She also held a variety of positions at The Globe and Mail, including assistant national editor and health editor.
Sarah is a graduate of political studies at Queen’s University, and was editor of the Queen’s Journal. She has two grown children.
