Madeleine WhitestoneIntern

Madeleine Whitestone is an intern with the Renewables in Remote Communities program at the Pembina Institute. Her work focuses on advancing the business case of clean energy projects in remote communities. 

Prior to joining the Institute, Maddy completed her bachelor's degree at McGill University in chemical engineering with minors in geography and political science. Her studies gave her a background in renewable energy, environmental assessment, economic evaluation of projects and policy analysis. During her bachelor's degree, Maddy was involved in research on efficient hydrogen separation for use in fuel cells.

Outside of work you can find Maddy exploring Toronto's biking trail network or attempting a new bread recipe.
