Anurika (Rika) Onyenso is the operations lead at the Pembina Institute, where she supports organizational strategy and efficiency to advance the Institute’s mission for a sustainable energy future. She brings a multidisciplinary background in business development, operations, finance, communications and project management.
A graduate of the University of Alberta with a degree in business management and sociology, Rika’s career has been shaped by a passion for advocacy and creating positive collective impact. She has applied her expertise to support non-profits and mentor marginalized groups, experiences that have strengthened both her leadership and strategic thinking.
Rika is committed to sustainability, health equity and civic engagement. Outside of work, she’s a lifelong learner and avid hobbyist, whether traveling, exploring creative pursuits or practicing aerial arts. She is based in the Edmonton office.
