Join BRC Canada for our Fall 2020 webinar series
This five-part webinar series will cover lessons learned from BRC founding members, developments and impacts of the U.S. market, a jurisdictional overview across Canada, and renewable energy credits and carbon offsets. We will wrap the series up with an open roundtable, where attendees can break off into groups and talk to previous speakers, as well a members-only virtual networking event.

WEEK 1 (Oct. 20) — Lessons learned
A panel discussion with representatives from RBC, Bullfrog Power, and BluEarth sharing their lessons learned from Canada’s most recent corporate PPA.
WEEK 2 (Oct. 27) — Jurisdictional overview
An overview of the commercial and institutional (i.e. non-utility) renewable energy procurement landscape across Canada.
WEEK 3 (Nov. 3) — The U.S. market and Canada
Hear from the Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance (REBA) on the latest in the U.S. market and what the implications or impacts could be for Canada.
WEEK 4 (Nov. 10) — Talking RECs and carbon offsets
Hear from experts about the role renewable energy credits (RECs) and carbon offsets can play in corporate procurement in Canada and how to navigate the selection process.
WEEK 5 (Nov. 17) — Roundtable
A forum where attendees can break off into smaller groups and have in-depth discussions on a number of topics and connect with some of the speakers from the previous four weeks.
BONUS (Nov. 24) — Members-only virtual networking event

About the BRC
The Business Renewables Centre Canada is a non-profit initiative where corporations and institutions can learn how to buy renewable energy, such as wind or solar power, directly from developers. Launched in early 2019, the BRC-Canada already has more than 40 members, and to date have purchased 230 megawatts of renewable energy through corporate procurement deals, totaling $400 million in private sector investment in Alberta.
