The “natural capital” of the Credit River Watershed provides services worth more than $371 million to area residents each year. The watershed’s stock of natural assets, such as water, forests, wetlands and wildlife, provides essential ecological services, including water filtration, removal of carbon from the atmosphere and air purification.
