Green Power Marketing in Canada: The State of the Industry

This report provides a quantitative assessment of the environmental impacts of "Green Power Marketing" programs in Canada. It provides a detailed description of programs that were in place by early 2002, and indicates the quantities and sources of electricity for each program, the number of consumers participating, and the overall environmental benefits from each.

In addition, the report provides an overview of other policy mechanisms to support Green Power development in Canada and the role of Green Power certification programs.
