BMO Centre, Calgary, AB

The Emissions Reduction Theatre at the Global Energy Show Canada highlights Canadian leadership in emissions reduction, showcasing innovations, collaborations, and commercialization pathways with global relevance.

Amanda Bryant, Pembina Institute's oil & gas senior analyst, will be speaking on "Independent Third Party Verification of Baselines and Reductions” on Thursday June 11 from 11:45 a.m to 12:15.

Kari Hyde, Pembina Institute’s director of customer energy solutions, will be moderating the panel “From Grid to Customer: How Utilities Are Delivering Innovation at Scale” with panelists Brandon Young, BC Hydro’s director of energy efficiency & innovation, and Jan Poetsch, founder and CEO of Arder Energy, on Tuesday, June 9 from 1:40 p.m. to 2:25 p.m.

Emissions from natural gas and oil exploration, production, and transportation arise from both planned and unplanned sources and require a range of solutions to measure, monitor, report, and reduce them effectively. Addressing these emissions in a responsible and cost-effective way supports Canada’s Net Zero goals while strengthening the energy industry by delivering low-carbon, reliable, and affordable energy.
