Feb. 17, 2016 11:00pm Online webinar - Public event

On February 18, 2016, the Pembina Institute hosted the first of four webinars in a series focusing on the forthcoming B.C. Climate Leadership Plan.

Webinar 1 began with a brief overview of the ongoing Climate Leadership Plan process. It provided insights on what is needed to achieve a strong plan, a summary of the Climate Leadership Team’s recommendations, and information on how British Columbians can effectively contribute to the process.

The speakers were Josha MacNab and Matt Horne of the Pembina Institute, and Jordan Sturdy, the MLA for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky. (Both Horne and Sturdy were members of the Climate Leadership Team.) Institute analyst Maximilian Kniewasser moderated the discussion.

On February 25, Webinar 2 will look at managing methane emissions from B.C.’s gas sector.

The Pembina Institute is grateful for support from the Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia, Schein Foundation, Sitka Foundation and Vancity for this webinar series.
