There is a lack of housing diversity in the Greater Toronto Area. In particular, affordable homes in walkable, amenity-rich urban neighbourhoods are in short supply. 

These desirable residential streets are comprised mostly of detached and semi-detached houses, which are too expensive for most residents. More small-scale housing units, like attic suites and infill townhouses, can help close the affordability gap.
