Fiscal Policies for Environmental Objectives

The Green Economics and Policy (GEP) program encourages change within government fiscal policy to create stronger economic signals for a more ecologically sustainable economy.

The two main objectives of the program are to:

1. Increase the profile of Ecological Fiscal Reform (EFR) among civil society and public policy decision-makers.
2. Facilitate the introduction of specific EFR measures in Canada.
