Pembina's Earth Celebration Gala 2007!

Austin Powers was there, the Minister of the Environment was there and so was Greenpeace. By any measure Pembina Gala 2007 was a big success and a lot of fun!

It was held Monday, October 29, 2007 in Calgary, Alberta in conjunction with The Pembina Institute's Carbon Pricing for a Sustainable Economy conference that brought the captains of industry, government and non-profits together to tackle the issue of just how carbon should be priced in world fast becoming carbon conscious. It's all about reducing greenhouse gas emissions that lead to global warming.
