Art Garfunkel

Art Garfunkel Sooths a Full House in Edmonton and Calgary

With a voice, Tom Murray reporting for the Edmonton Journal reports "as crystalline as it was back in the late '60s" Art Garfunkel floated well-loved favourites over a full concert hall.

The audiences at both venues soaked in tunes like Scarborough Fair, Homeward Bound, El Condor Pasa and got up to dance to Cecilia.

It was wonderful meeting Art in person and we are most grateful to him for using his wonderful gift to help raise funds for our very important work.

Andrew Kiss Uses His Art for Action

During the pre-show and intermission nature artist Andrew Kiss awed patrons with his spectacular nature scenes collection. Andrew donated a portion of his proceeds from his art sale for the evening back to the Pembina Institute to help with our campaigns to move towards more sustainable energy solutions.

Thank you Andrew!

A Little Boost for the Jepps

JP Jepp and familyA portion of the funds raised from the concert are earmarked for J.P. Jepp (a former Pembina staff member) and his very busy family.

The Pembina Institute is very grateful to people who supported its work by sharing in this very special evening of entertainment. We hope to see you for the 2007 concert series!

The money raised from Art Garfunkel's concerts, plus the silent auction and Andrew Kiss illustrated cards will support Pembina’s efforts to lessen the environmental effects of the fossil fuel industry and move towards sustainable energy solutions.
