Group Director, GreenLearning Canada

Gordon is the Director of GreenLearning Canada, the Pembina Institute's education program. His career as an environmental educator began in the classroom, teaching elementary grades while infusing his love of nature and environmental themes across the curriculum. Gordon previously worked as education coordinator for Pollution Probe (Ottawa) and a number of other environmental NGOs, and then as an environmental consultant with Marbek Resource Consultants. Gordon also developed innovative environmental education programs including EcoScope for Sustaining Wetlands and the education component of the Canada India Rural Energy Project. Gordon received a BA in political science and economics from the University of Toronto, as well as his Ontario Teaching Certificate.
