Fund Development Manager, Fundraising and Development, Pembina Institute
As the Pembina Institute’s fund development manager, Lori Johnston’s role is to implement a number of internal revenue generation initiatives in order to help advance revenue generation across the organization.
Prior to joining Pembina, Lori coordinated and managed fundraising initiatives for non-profit organizations in the environmental, medical humanitarian, and human rights sectors, including War Child Canada, an international award-winning children’s charity. Before that, Lori worked as project director for a press and communications company, where she successfully raised corporate and government sponsorship to publish economic reports on Tanzania, Turkey, Philippines, Russia, and Hong Kong in leading publications in Europe and North America.
Lori holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller University in Paris, France and an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from McMaster University.
