Cherise Burda directs research and implementation strategies for energy solutions in Ontario, including sustainable transportation and policy initiatives for urban form. Cherise holds a B.Sc. in environmental science and an MA in environmental legislation and policy, as well as a B.Ed.

Cherise is co-author of the transportation solutions reports Driving Down Carbon and Bridging the Gulf. She has worked tirelessly to promote renewable and clean energy development in Ontario, including coordinating the Renewable is Doable campaign, authoring Plugging Ontario Into A Green Future and playing a supporting role in securing the Ontario Green Energy Act.
